[He's probably supposed to ask for her permission first, so he was apologizing for that, but right now? He honestly doesn't care about it. Not when he's here with Minako, like this. Moving his lips against hers with feather-soft shyness, and yet always, carrying a hint of aggression behind the carefully-constructed mask. He doesn't intrude into her mouth this time, having lost that edge of boldness in favor of initiating their second kiss.]

[That totally counted as permission before. Besides, what's the saying? 'Easier to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission?' Not that there was anything going on here to forgive. Especially since his lips were a lot more timid this time around.

What's worse, it only made her feel more timid. It was a conscious effort on her part to hold herself back, let him decide just how far to push.]

[He pulled back before he could get too out of breath, but that did nothing to ease the lightheaded part. He exhaled shakily and finally opened his eyes when his mind was able to grasp some semblance of coherency. Twin gray depths were darker than their usual shade. Naturally, Akihiko was unaware of the change himself.

He stayed close, his curious gaze searching her face as he asked.] Um... was that okay...?

...you're very good, actually.

[That was an uncomfortable admission.]

...or wait. Did you mean kissing me, or the kiss itself?

[Not that her answer would change.]

[That answer pleased him, even as he denied.] N-No way...

Um... kissing you. [He ducked his head down a bit, feeling unsure of himself.] I-I didn't ask for your permission first... [He started mumbling absentmindedly, as though he was still processing what they just shared.] You definitely taste better than the shake...

[It was a compliment, and not one she's expected from Akihiko's lips. She pressed them together self-consciously and pulled her gaze away, hoping that focusing on the mixture instead of the contact would perhaps dull the tingling in the place Akihiko had just moments before occupied.]

So...the shake could use some work...

W-Well... it isn't that bad...

[Subconsciously, Akihiko ran his tongue over his lips, licking them. Definitely not a taste he'd forget anytime soon.]

Hey... you wanna go run it off? [He asked while rising to his feet, extending a hand toward Minako in invitation.] Then maybe we can try another shake... afterward.

[Like a sneeze, the gesture is contagious, and before Minako could realize what she did, her tongue swept across her own lips in a similar fashion.]

Sure...[Luckily with the camp uniform as it was, they could really run at any time they wished. She took his hand and stood, looking over the lunch table.] Maybe you can come up with something better.

[Though frankly she was more interested in tasting something else of his entirely...]
