1. Fashion disasters. That is what you all are, at least according to Aphrodite's cabin (seriously, neon orange?). But since it's the uniform, you have to at least try to make it work. What are your creative ideas for style in the summer sun when you have to wear apparently the ugliest shirt known to man?

2. Defending the line. A hell hound has been attacking camp borders! Rather than risk it getting in, it's up to the campers to dispatch it as quickly as possible. Make a plan, form groups and take this guy out? Or try to fight it on your own. (After all, "hero" tends to tie in with "idiot.")

3. Training grounds. A normal day on the training grounds. Archery practice, swordplay, and a climbing wall spitting lava! Learn yourself some skills while you still can, otherwise you might end up barbecue in a real combat situation.

4. Beach party! Day off and we are chilling on the beach. It's nice being so close to the water, right? And I promise Poseidon won't try to drown ~~most of~~ you.

5. Prank victims. SOMEONE (looking at you, Hermes kid), has decided to lock anyone in the bathroom around the time the most people shower. This is a problem, as SOMEONE (looking at you, Hermes kid) also lost the key to the bathroom. It might take a while for them to find it, or they might just blow down the door. So what do you feel like doing tonight, my poor trapped demigods?

[Hinata frowned, pained at the reminder that her family wasn't her true family, especially as a child of Athena. Her entire life had been nothing more than elaborate lie.

Perhaps that was why her f-Hiashi-sama had been unwilling to have her as his heir for clan head. And the reason she was so different from the rest of the Hyuuga, no matter how much she tried to be what they wanted.

Except, Neji's sacrifice was not that of someone bound by duty to protect her. Over the last three years she'd been with him, a sort of tight affection had grown between them. It was not fake.]

Not everything in my previous life was a lie. Some ties can transcend even basic familial obligations.

[An interesting answer... sadly, not one she really understood. It would have been nice after they decided to drop on her that she wasn't really a goddess, that she wasn't really from her world, they had also dispensed with some human understanding. Sadly, Izanami still did not understand what it really meant for humans to bond together as they do.]

And these ties... are they still important, despite what you are, or inspite of what you are?

[Hinata is forced to think about the situation from an emotional distance, something that Hiashi-sama always said she could not do because she was so nice. True, it was a skill she'd gained in the last few years, but it wasn't something that was totally unknown to her.

However, it is the calming influence of Neji that keeps her from being completely despondent.]

I think the point is moot, considering that Neji-niisan sacrificed his life so that I might live and take my place as heir to the Hyuuga clan, despite the fact that he hated the Main family for most of his life and resented my existence until three years ago. Before he made that gesture, we were...closer and able to be around one another without any resentment on his side. So, I would say that my...cousin loved me, regardless of what anyone else thought of me.

[Izanami listened patiently, her expression remaining impassive long after Hinata had finished speaking. After a moment, however, a small smile graced her face; yes, love between siblings was something she could understand very well.]

Then that is something to be held onto, even knowing that our existence was a lie until now.

[The grey-haired woman's smile doesn't really scare Hinata, though she's sure that it would be off-putting to some.]

As I said, the thought is probably moot by now, considering my cousin is no longer amongst the living. And if that is the case, I have nothing connecting me to my old life.

[Izanami paused a moment as he mulled that over, absently toeing the ground with her bare feet. After a moment, she looked back up at her, her smile turning a bit secretive.]

I know an individual that would say such bonds persist in our hearts. I do not understand this, personally, but perhaps it is something humans can appreciate.

[The bared feet made the woman appear to seem more human, but her words were too standoffish to be of any comfort to Hinata.]

I suppose that person is correct, in the grand scheme of things, but I am too...tired after learning all of this to hold to that. Perhaps later I will feel differently.

[She wasn't human, dammit... at least, not that she would say she was. Even she had to admit the frailness in this body, the fact that she couldn't hide the reminder of her death. She hated everything about this form, this camp, and this truth.]

[But she wouldn't say it out loud.]

Perhaps so. In time, I suppose we will all come to accept this fate that we were born into.

[There might have been a bitter edge to her words, but it was carefully masked, as was the expression on her face.]

[Hinata spent her entire life before coming here around people who lived behind masks, making her more than a little adept at reading what laid underneath the surface. This woman, whomever she had been, was incredibly displeased with their current situation.

Well, that made two of them. However, Hinata would accept it in time. She didn't think the other woman would.]

I suppose so, but I have heard that that is not always the case.

[The mask dropped briefly at that, and the cold gaze that met Hinata was practically cursing, demanding to know how she was able to read her. It was gone in a blink, however, and the fake smile was back on her face.]

How unfortunate for that individual, then.
