[Ryoji was not pleased. Oh, sure, his game of Never Have I Ever was a great success, but the trouble was, he wasn't there to see the ending of the game. The whole point of the event was to let everyone loosen up and get a little drunk, but apparently, someone though Ryoji was too drunk and someone took his glass away.

And now that someone was dragging a pouting Ryoji back to the Hermes cabin.

He has his arms folded as he's pulled along, and though every so often he makes some whining noises, he stays silent. He's made a vow not to talk again until Akihiko apologizes for making him leave, and even drunk Ryoji takes his vows pretty seriously.]

[If Ryoji wasn't drunk (or tipsy, buzzed, whatever), Akihiko would've considered knocking him out first. It would be a lot easier to transport him back to his cabin that way.

He hears those whines, and thinks, with some amusement, how much Ryoji sounds like Koromaru when denied a treat.]

Cut it out already, Ryoji. [He scolds firmly as he keeps walking forward, dragging the unwilling teen behind him.] Don't make me drag you back by your scarf.

[For someone who's drunk, he's still pretty animated. But when he's sobered up, he'll be grateful Akihiko didn't decide to take the easy way out of this predicament.

He listens for a moment, and then just glares at Akihiko, before picking up his whining again with even more vigor, not to mention volume. He may not be talking, but he's still pretty noisy.]

[Don't test him, dude. He will seriously carry your skinny ass the rest of the way back, if he has to.

He just remarks wryly.] That doesn't have an effect on me, you know. We have a dog that lives in our dorm.

[Ryoji freezes for a moment, whine trailing off into awkward silence. He's not some kind of animal! That was really rude, Akihiko!

So, although he's stopped his whining for now, Akihiko still has to suffer. Ryoji unfolds his arms and swats the back of his upperclassman's head. That'll teach him!]

He had his chance to do this and decided to be a chicken. She's not too shy about this, and she's hardly inexperienced in this front of physical activity. So this is not some gentle brushing of lips.*

[And then she completely takes him off-guard with that bold move! A noise of surprise gets trapped in his throat, and all he can do is stumble back. On reflex, his hands reach out to grab a hold of Maya, and he pulls her along with him for the fall.]

[They tumble onto the floor in a mess of limbs, and Akihiko can only think to curse under his breath. With a mild wince, he looks up at Maya, sprawled out on top of him. At least he broke her fall, he realizes in relief.]

[Yeah, that... wasn't awkward at all.]

[Being in the dining hall means their goblets would fill with whatever they wanted, right? It's not her fault 'protein shake' wasn't a common request. So she's trying to instead summon the ingredients to make her own. Peanut butter, spinach, silken tofu, egg whites...it tasted vile, but she needed an expert opinion. Maybe they could figure out what to do about the flavor.] I'm trying to get a protein shake whipped up for the dining hall, but I need a taste-tester. You in?

[Akihiko looks up at hearing her call, and tenses a little. But after hearing her proposal, his expression eases, and he nods in agreement.] Oh… Okay.

[He takes the goblet from her and sniffs it.]

Uh… what’s in this…?

[NO you don't get to take it. Minako yanks it back, taking great care not to spill it over the goblet's rim.]

All kinds of stuff! I was coming up with something you could give Ryoji-kun so he's not so grossed out by the raw eggs.

[It's not like she's Fuuka-grade cooking skill, Akihiko. But she does need some sort of extra ingredient.] It's not complete yet. I need to figure out something sweet to put in it to cover-up the taste a bit.

Sheesh… All right. [He holds up his hands in surrender.] But how am I supposed to taste it if you won’t let me…?

[The mention of Ryoji does make his expression cloud over a little, but he decides to refrain from commenting.]

Something sweet, huh? [He mulls over that for a few minutes.] I’d suggest yogurt. It’s sweeter than nuts and seeds, though you can add those too.

[Minako purses her lips in thought.] Yogurt...could work...you don't think it'd clash with the peanut butter?

[She brings the goblet back up to her mouth, doing her best not to inhale as she tastes it. Don't flinch, don't flinch..! Once it got past her lips, it wasn't really all that bad.]

...yeah. [She swallowed, but not without a bit of effort.] Yogurt should do it.

[She takes another goblet and has it fill up with a yogurt drink. Now to mix that in...]

[Akihiko grimaces a little.] I wouldn’t have added peanut butter in the first place… But… Well, people eat granola with yogurt, right? So it… might not taste too weird.

[He just watches her, especially interested in her expression as she tries the concoction. She seems fine, except for that momentary strain.] Uh… Didn’t you want me to try it? I doubt the taste would bother me. I drink raw eggs, remember?
